Workshop Manager at Boonstra
Our workshop repairs damaged vehicles, but also works on recovery vehicles for our company Boonstra Recovery Trucks and keeps our own fleet in top condition. Together with your team, you ensure that everything is in top technical and visual condition. As Workshop Manager, you will lead a small but close-knit team of two enthusiastic mechanics, a general workshop employee, and occasionally a freelancer during busy periods. You will start the day with a clear schedule, assign tasks, and maintain an overview. You know better than anyone what the priorities are and what needs to be done and when.

You assist the mechanics in selecting parts and materials and ensure that these are ordered on time. When a driver arrives to unload, you are ready to help. You see what needs to be done and ensure that the mechanics can continue working as much as possible. This keeps the workshop running efficiently and allows everyone to play to their strengths.In addition, you ensure that the collection and delivery of vehicles runs smoothly and, together with the site manager, you ensure that everything in and around the building remains tidy and organized.

What do we ask of you?
- You have experience in technology in the broadest sense of the word, you are handy with technology, but you don't have to be the best at tinkering yourself.
- You have managerial experience and are able to motivate and lead a team.
- When decisions need to be made, you don't hesitate and you are confident in your knowledge.
- You are stress-resistant and structured
- You can switch gears quickly and are immediate when necessary.
- You naturally think in terms of solutions and do not shy away from any (technical or logistical) challenge.
- (Pre) you have a forklift certificate
- (Pre) In addition to a Class B driver's license, you also have a Class C (E) driver's license.
- You are available 40 hours per week and do not have an 8-to-5 mentality.
