Mechanic at Boonstra

Boonstra Schadevoertuigen is a wholesaler specializing in damaged vehicles with an ever-changing stock of approximately 1000 vehicles. From our location in Drachten on the Drachten-Azeven business park, we buy and sell damaged vehicles to the Netherlands and abroad.
Do you have a passion for tinkering and a go-getter mentality? Then we are looking for you!
In damage vehicles, you work as a mechanic on cars to make them roadworthy or at least roll-ready. You fix minor technical malfunctions and replace parts that allow the car to start or drive again if that was not possible before. The goal is not to fix everything, but to make the vehicle as attractive as possible for sale. This requires technical insight and creative thinking: how do you get the most out of the available time and the vehicle itself?
Do you like it when there's something to fiddle with? Then this is the place for you!
What do we ask of you?
- You are a cheerful colleague
- You have experience with modern automotive electronics
- (pre) You have experience with electric vehicles
- You have a large dose of technical and spatial insight
- You are proactive and self-reliant
- You are stress resistant, meticulous and sharp
- You don't have an 8-17 hour mentality and are available 40 hours a week
- (pre) You have a forklift certificate
