Boonstra is a wholesaler specialized in damaged vehicles with a constantly changing stock of around 1000 vehicles. From our facility in Drachten on the Drachten-Azeven business park we buy and sell damaged vehicles to customers throughout Europe and worldwide. Boonstra sells a wide range: cars, vans, motorcycles, mopeds, caravans, campers, trucks, trailers and machinery.
Since 1988
Boonstra has been around for more than 30 years and started in 1988 as a moped shop in Frieschepalen. The owner, Sjors Boonstra, was 17 years old at the time. In 1991, the move to Ureterp took place. The company was then known as Boonstra Motoren. In 2005, the trade expanded into damaged cars. First from Surhuisterveen and in 2009 the premises were built at Dopplerlaan 4 on the Azeven industrial estate in Drachten, still the main location of Boonstra Damage Vehicles. There are now four locations of Boonstra Schadevoertuigen on this industrial estate and the trade has further expanded to include caravans, campers, vans, trucks, machinery and so much more.
Meer dan 4500 voertuigen aan klanten in meer dan 60 landen
Vandaag de dag is Boonstra Schadevoertuigen de grootste handelaar in schadevoertuigen in Nederland en wordt er iedere dag met een team van meer dan 30 medewerkers gewerkt. Jaarlijks worden meer dan 4500 voertuigen verkocht aan klanten in meer dan 60 verschillende landen wereldwijd.
Personal and customer-oriented
Despite growth, the same personal customer approach is still present in our DNA as it was long ago when 15 cars a year were sold. We strongly value personal advice and contact and make every effort to portray vehicles in the best possible way. Our sales staff answers the phone themselves and we can speak to you well in Dutch, English and German. Within the Netherlands we offer customers the option of having their purchase delivered.Â
